Decentralized NEO exchange Switcheo Network adds support for ERC20 tokens
Switcheo Network, a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange based on the NEO protocol and previously allowing the exchange of NEP-5 tokens, announced the official release of the Callisto update, along with which its platform now supports ERC-20 tokens issued on the Ethereum blockchain.
“Today I am proud to announce the launch of Callisto. I am moved by the positive feedback from the community. Switcheo will continue to strive for excellence and provide you with world-class trading opportunities, ”said Ivan Poon, CEO of Switcheo..
Along with the launch of Callisto Switcheo is listing multiple Ethereum-based trading pairs, including tokens such as Accounting Blockchain (TAB), Basic Attention Token (BAT), BCDiploma (BCDT), Celsius (CEL), Dai (DAI), Eden Coin (EDEN), Ethos (ETHOS), Fantom (FTM), Leverj (LEV), Liquidity Network (LQD), Maker (MKR), Metadium (META), OmiseGO (OMG) and RedCab (REDC).
Earlier it was assumed that Callisto would be launched on November 8, but the release date was repeatedly postponed due to the fact that the project decided to “slightly expand the scope of work”, including for auditing Ethereum smart contracts, developing API synchronization mechanisms, improving the user interface and etc. Since October 29, Callisto functionality has been available in limited beta mode.
In the future, the developers plan to add support for the Qtum blockchain, integrate the SWTH / ETH pair through atomic swap technology, and even implement the possibility of buying ether for fiat.
