Lisk Rises 60% After Adding To A New Exchange
Lisk rose from $ 21.63 to $ 35.26 within 30 minutes after the cryptocurrency was listed on the popular Japanese exchange bitFlyer.
Shortly after the listing announcement was published, bitFlyer encountered technical difficulties and its site was temporarily unavailable. By the time of publication, the exchange had posted a message of apology, adding that it was investigating the causes of the incident..
Meanwhile, the Lisk rate has declined and is around the $ 28.60 level, which is still 32% higher than a few hours ago.
Yesterday the Lisk team announced that the long-awaited platform rebranding will take place on February 20.
Lisk traded in the $ 1-2 range for much of 2017, but growing community interest in decentralized apps and news of an impending rebranding helped it end the year around the $ 20 level and renew its January high at $ 39.31.
Another positive news for Lisk is the addition of cryptocurrency trading to the Robinhood app. Lisk was among the 14 cryptocurrencies, data on which Robinhood will provide at the initial stage of development of its new service.
