Brave partners with Binance to exchange cryptocurrencies in the browser interface
The Brave browser expands cryptocurrency-related capabilities through integration with the Binance exchange. Brave users will now be able to buy, trade and receive crypto assets directly in a new tab in their browser. This is reported on the Binance blog.
Opening a new tab below the Brave Rewards widget will open a Binance widget linked to the Binance.com and Binance.us trading platforms.
By default, if the user does not interact with the widget, Brave will not download data from Binance servers. After connecting to a Binance account, the user will be able to view the balance and perform other operations.
It is also possible to completely disable the Binance widget.
“The Binance widget in Brave’s privacy-focused browser provides a safer way to buy and sell cryptocurrencies, and also reduces the complexity associated with interacting with the Binance ecosystem,” said Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao. – We look forward to a long-term partnership with Brave “.
The Binance widget is already available in the Brave Nightly version. Stable release expected in April.
